The easiest way to ensure that a user is at the printer is to scan a QR code or tap an NFC tag. While a printer’s name or code can be used to release a print job, if you remember the name or code in question then there is no need for you to be at the printer when releasing your print job. As such, your organisation may require that you scan a QR code or tap an NFC tag as that would require you to be at the printer.
